What are Full Spectrum Powders?

Full-spectrum mushroom supplements are created by combining both myceliated grain and mushrooms. This is because each component has a unique set of nutrients that contribute to the overall health benefits of the supplement. To create full-spectrum products a grain-based substrate (such as sorghum) is injected with a sample of the fungi. As the fungus colonizes the grain, it secretes enzymes and secondary metabolites, effectively transforming the sorghum into an immune-active grain. During this process, the mycelium progressively produces mushrooms that are enriched with additional nutrients. The synergistic blend of both grain and mushrooms results in remarkably potent and beneficial outcomes.

Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) Mushrooms and Potential Benefits:

Lion's Mane mushrooms have a distinctive appearance with long, white, tooth-like or spine-like structures that hang down from a central clump. This distinctive feature gives them the appearance of either a shaggy, white ball or the majestic mane of a lion, hence their name. When it comes to taste and texture, they are often characterized as having a gentle, sweet, and earthy flavour. We offer our supplements in two convenient forms: pills and powders. The powders can be seamlessly incorporated into soups, smoothies, cereals and other foods.

Nutrient Content

Lion's Mane mushrooms are not only delicious but also packed with a wealth of nutrients. These mushrooms are rich in vitamins, minerals, and various beneficial compounds. They are particularly known for their high content of beta-glucan polysaccharides, which have numerous positive effects on health. Lion's Mane mushrooms also boast a range of essential amino acids, flavones, alkaloids, anthraquinones, and phenolic compounds. In terms of minerals, they are abundant in zinc, iron, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium. Additionally, Lion's Mane mushrooms are a great source of vitamins such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, and vitamin E.

They are considered safe for consumption, and no adverse effects have been reported in humans or animals. Lion's Mane mushrooms can be consumed fresh or taken as a supplement in forms such as powders or capsules. However, it's always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before introducing any new supplement or dietary change.

Potential Benefits

This delicious mushroom is commonly referred to as “Nature’s nutrient for the neurons” because of its ability to stimulate the release of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) , a protein that plays a vital role in nerve cell growth, maintenance, and repair. By enhancing NGF production, Lion's Mane mushrooms have the potential to improve memory function, mood, and overall cognitive performance in adults and children.

Studies suggest that supplementing with H. erinaceus can assist with the following conditions:
